Bringing the outside in with Garden Rooms

This impressive structure was created as an additional storey on the existing property. The finished project provided the client with an outstanding garden room which can be accessed via a wrought iron spiral staircase from the kitchen below.

The main structure of the room utilises Western Red Cedar. Western Red Cedar is slow growing and naturally durable. This wood has one of the longest life spans of any North American softwood and is a preferred wood for nearly all purposes where attractive appearance or resistance to weather is important.

This additional storey blends in perfectly to the existing exterior and looks very much in keeping with the property. Two beautifully constructed belfry towers finish off the perfect look, and allow natural light to flood in.

Graham Ball commissioned the production of the ornate constructed cast steel spiral staircase that leads from the existing ground floor kitchen to the new garden room above. The staircase has the added extra quality of hard wearing and luxurious mahogany steps.

The balustrade on the upper floor is also constructed in cast steel and designed perfectly to complement both the staircase and to enhance the quality look of the garden room itself.

The two belfry towers are another eye catching feature and are constructed from restored triple glazed lead light glass, with complementing lights as specified by the client.

At Graham Balls we employ only the best tradesmen in the business with many years experience in their field. From concept to completion we only provide the best.
